Scrappy Christmas Tree Light Set One of the of the nicest examples of Scrappy product packaging--and one that shows up on eBay often--is this box for a Christmas-tree light set. "See them illuminated!" This is another Scrappy toy that mentions durability as a virtue--perhaps it was a key feature in depression days.

Like almost every other major and minor cartoon character, Scrappy made appearances in the world of home movies--for years after he retired from the silver screen. Here's one piece of box art, by someone who apparently had only a vague familiarity with the characters (Yippy looks a tad like Mr. Natural):
