I&#8217;m happy to say that I don&#8217;t know about all of them yet.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, I just learned that the British territory of Bermuda used the little guy as an ambassador of goodwill at an apparently elaborate exhibit in New York City in 1936.<\/p>\n<p>The March 15, 1936 issue of a publication named <em>The Motion Picture and the Family<\/em> has the scoop.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.scrappyland.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/scrappybermuda.png\" rel=\"lightbox[1168]\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1169\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.scrappyland.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/scrappybermuda.png?resize=300%2C1539\" alt=\"Scrappy in Bermuda\" width=\"300\" height=\"1539\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.scrappyland.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/scrappybermuda.png?w=300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.scrappyland.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/scrappybermuda.png?resize=29%2C150&amp;ssl=1 29w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a lot to ruminate over here:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The whole affair seems to have been&#8211;like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scrappyland.com\/blog\/campletter\/\">other Columbia marketing blitzes<\/a>&#8211;wrapped up in the theory that cartoons were a form of education. Especially Scrappy cartoons.
